Unfortunately there are no public funds in Romania for a project like this and therefore the future of the It’s Donkey Time! is completely in the hands of voluntary sponsors.

When Save the Dogs' new animal welfare centre Footprints of Joy in Southern Romania is completed, it is planned for the riding therapy to expand there too. Besides donkeys there will also be horses and dogs at the centre.
